Finally, surveillance ops have released the footage I was after from the event, and now I'm taking my time sifting through it. I've already spotted a couple of fellow agents who were lucky enough to get the assignment, as well as.....some others I know. We weren't always so pally with the Soviets.....

Hmmm...intelligence agencies point to a gathering of agents from around the world, centering somewhere on the Pacific coast of America. If I wasn't so tied up with this darned observation op, I'd have put in a request for the reconnaisance. Curse 5 and their pithy little operations. Looks like I'll have to glean whatever I can from other sources this time.

Addendum:

F has informed me of another gathering of important figures later in the year, somewhere in Germany. I've been detailed off to head up the undercover surveillance team. Some casino or something similar. G believes it could be a front for another organisation. We'll have to see....
